What is a commissioned work of art and how does it work?
It is when a client hires an artist to create a piece of art based on their preferences. In this case I will help you define the size and colors, I will propose potential ideas and I will help you clarify what you have in mind.
Once we are clear about what I am going to create for you, I will give you a price and request a 50% deposit to confirm the order. The remaining 50% must be paid when the work is finished so that you can receive it.
How much does commissioned art cost?
Commissioned works of art cost more than an original work of art and an art print, and it varies depending on the case. This is due to the process and time it takes me to create something bespoke for you. However, having a unique and personal piece is priceless.
What are the benefits of commissioning artwork?
There is something extraordinary about commissioning a piece of art because it offers you the opportunity to have a personalized work of art that you can keep for life.
How long does it take?
In general, a commission can be carried out within the period that you establish, however, this can vary depending on the complexity of the piece. I will organize a schedule and keep you informed of how your assignment is progressing.
What are you going to receive?
You will receive a custom (framed or unframed), authentic and one-of-a-kind piece of art, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a collector's kit.
And if you don't like the final piece?
This is highly unlikely as I carry out a consultation with you before the commission starts, so there is full communication and a complete understanding of what they want. If you like my work, it is unlikely that the work I create for you will not do justice to your expectations. However, please note that commissioned artworks will not be refunded and the full agreed price will be paid upon completion of the order.
